What Anonym dislikes about Rick's On Rye:
A bit rough around the edges. Can't stand wet glasses being offered as clean and the place could do with a bit of a spring clean overall but the food was not too bad. Cheese burger good and reasonably priced. BLT large and also good. Beer garden out the back is good but needs a mow and puddles on the pavement. Came for breakfast with a few friends before heading off to the airport and heading off after a great weekend in Rye.Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who offered us the large table in the rear garden. The menu was good with a nice variety for breakfast options. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. One of my friends ordered the Breakfast burger and said it was one of the best he has had.I ordered the Poached eggs and Bacon on toast. The eggs were poached properly and not done in a microwave as done by a cafe up the road. The bacon was nice and crispy.From start to finish we were really happy with this cafe and wish we had only found it the day before. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
Fresh made scones much better than Mrs marples friendly service good coffee what more can you ask for will be eating there again may suggest fruit scones in future with strawberry Jam and fresh creme so happy
Delicious bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast. Fast and friendly service. I highly recommend this cafe.
The food was delicious, all four of our meals were hot and fresh. The service was excellent as well! We will definitely be returning next time we are heading down the peninsula.
