This is possibly the worst pub manager I have ever encountered! I have been a frequent customer at this establishment for many years and have never seen such lack of presence from a manager. He often leaves only one person to tend the bar while he remains upstairs, and if called upon for assistance, he disappears after just 5 minutes.
