Le Cap Vers was conveniently located near my hotel during a recent stay in Rouen, so we decided to give it a try. There was nobody in the restaurant when we got there around 7:30 for dinner on a Thursday, but soon people started piling in. The wine menu was good, offering a reasonable number of selections of nice quality bottles. The main dishes were really good and all were served with the fries made in-house. I got the scallops and chorizo, which was interesting and delicious. I sampled the sirloin from my parents' plates, and it was perfectly cooked and very satisfying. For dessert, we had the tarte tatin, profiteroles, and crême brûlée, all of which were a nice finish to the meal. The waitress/hostess was very pleasant and very patient and helpful while I translated back and forth for my parents and was attentive without hovering. Great experience here. Would highly recommend. Good price point too.
Warm place, beautifully delicious cuisine. Boss! Nothing to say again. You can go with your eyes closed
