It is difficult to choose from the variety of delicious dishes offered on the buffet! The owner will load your plate with your selected items until it is stacked high. I even had enough to take home another meal. It is unfortunate that someone, possibly a competitor out of jealousy, keeps falsely claiming that the restaurant is permanently closed. This just gives me more reason to come back and visit! View all feedback.
I really enjoyed the ambiance at this restaurant. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. The service was a bit slow, but it added to the authenticity of the experience. The food was good, but not outstanding. I think I will explore other dining options when I return to Rome.
I can't say enough great things about this place. The food is ALWAYS GREAT and FRESH! The owners are amazing people and you get a ton of food for the price. I eat as much as I can. If I gave them a hundred stars.
Amazing food. Steak and pig are so tender, very juicy. The rice is here. And they made a special order of the Caribbean Mac Salad just for me. Thank you. Can't wait to try the chicken next.

We really, really liked the rice and beans as well as the additional meat. I suggest oxtail. It is all rather odd as we did not like the restaurant years ago when it first opened and I had to be dragged by my son and daughter in law along with my wife. They live in the NYC area and know something about good food. Loved it. I don't think I changed. Maybe the restaurant did? : Best, Terry
