What James R likes about Palisades:
There is virtually no good reason to come to Rome NY. You will yearn for a cheap bottle of vodka in a paper bag spending more than a few hours here. However, occasionally I have to drive through here...so the Palisades I go to for excellent wings and Utica Club. It's a very townie place, but quite friendly folks to share a bit of what goes on in a dismantled ex-Air Force base town. View all feedback.
What Tristan C doesn't like about Palisades:
This place is tiny. The older alcoholics are perpetually seated at the bar, reminiscent of Moe 's in The Simpson 's, and give some of the nastiest glares to newcomers I 've ever seen. The good points were the food and the small, yet well-picked, craft beers. You can get better, but not at those prices. View all feedback.
