My wife and I have been in Rome for a month, and this restaurant is one of the two best we’ve been to of probably 40+ restaurants. Wine list and recommendations are excellent, and the care with which the food is prepared is exceptional. I had veal ala Romana the first time and spaghetti with lobster the second tine and both dishes were exceptional. My wife (vegetarian) had the same Gorgonzola walnut sauce both times, once in risotto and tonight on homemade gnocchi. All excellent. Best version of an artichoke romana we’ve had in Rome.
Brick walled restaurant with an industrial feel that serves elevated Roman cuisine with very high quality ingredients and great attention to detail. And the service is attentive and knowledgeable a memorable dining experience. My primi, a daily special of tagliolini (ribbon pasta in a cream and white truffle sauce that was earthy and rich, phenomenal! Then my secondi was on the regular menu a pancetta wrapped hunk of veal in a rich demi glace with herbed millefeuille potato (Sage? Tarragon? . The steak was cooked medium well, and the surrounding pancetta was thin and crispy. Delicious. Quick call out for the bread that came to mop up the remaining sauce on both courses, crispy crust and pillowy inside... Strongly recommended.
