Walking from the marina sea wall, we smelled the nicest smoke flavor. Following our noses, we walked up to the outdoor grill of U Scalu, right at the water’s edge. We sat down at their outdoor tables and were quickly attended by Akshay, who spoke English. The food was great, as was the service. Went there last night. Took 10 minutes to get a menu; we were never asked if we wanted a drink. Waited another 20 minutes and nobody bothered to come as ask for our order so we left.
