Uncle D's Take-out - Roanoke

I love new places, they have good food. I had the chicken parm (this picture below shows it without cheese) with caesar byhalat. it was enough to have it later too! they take out and have a place to eat! I'll be back. View all feedback.

I was really looking forward to trying the homemade chicken and dumplings, but I was quite disappointed. In my opinion, the herbs were lacking, the carrots seemed out of place, and the dish was tough and difficult to chew. The flat dumplings had a pasta-like taste and looked as though they had been rolled out with a pasta machine. I believe that traditional dumplings should be thicker and hand rolled.
