A visit to the restaurant on a Saturday for lunch revealed a mixed bag of reviews. While the service was nice and attentive, the food left much to be desired for many customers. Some dishes, such as the Cajun Popcorn fried crawfish tails, gumbo, and Cajun fried chicken were overcooked or underwhelming. Issues with the quality and proportion of the food received criticism. However, the Crystal Louisiana Hot Sauce was a highlight for some. The restaurant's staff also received negative feedback, with complaints about service and attitude. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, outdoor courtyard, and good beer selection. For some customers, the experience was saved by enjoyable dishes like the oyster po'boy and well-cooked pork chops. Overall, while there were mixed reviews, the restaurant garnered praise for its ambience and some menu items.
What Tara Brown likes about The Quarter:
Ordered through a delivery service last week and the food was delicious. The pork chops were seasoned well, juicy and tender. The dinner included mashed potatoes with gravy and collard greens that were amazing. I don't usually eat cooked greens from any restaurant but they came with my dinner so I tried them. They definitely tasted like someone spent some time on them and cooked them to perfection. View all feedback.
What Raven Bergnaum doesn't like about The Quarter:
Don't go. the food was not good dry and so there was not a spicy louisiana there were only good chicken strips. and the look was only pearls few paintings and an alligator not impressed. my man is out of louisiana and he said this is not a Louisiana food, and the honey shed for the chicken strips was watery. will never waste money again.
