I was Traveling from NY to Florida and spent the night in Roanoke Rapids. Was looking for a place for dinner and preferably not a chain restaurant. Haggerty caught my eye. Great choice. I had a musroom cheeseburger that I would say was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Paired it with a baked potato that also was perfectly cooked. Reasonable prices. Would have liked if they had draft beer though. View all feedback.

The owner/manager is extremely rude and has terrible customer service. They refused to accept a takeout order, even though I was willing to support a local business and not go to a chain restaurant. This is the only restaurant in the area that I am aware of that won't serve takeout to customers who prefer not to dine in due to COVID-19.
