Curlew Lake State Park - Republic

What User likes about Curlew Lake State Park:
Nice clean park, good shower and great water access for the lake and lots of fresh water posts scattered around the campsites, note that the cheaper campsites are less separate than the more expensive pull in spots, think a big field with grass and a parking area for the cars but worth it if you’re looking for savings. What Gaylord Cassin doesn't like about Curlew Lake State Park:
Curlew lake would be more fun if you have a boat and don't have the luxury of staring at the water from the shoreline. The swimming spot had lots of cool algae growths that I decided not to brave. So, we cooled off with the water guns we brought. We walked the pier and I think the green forest was thicker.
