We visit Redlands when we spend time in the mountains. When in town we've been frequenting State St. On this trip we went to The State and had a fantastic experience overall. The food was great. We shared short rib tacos and the roasted Brussels sprouts. I asked for extra aioli and use it as a French fry dipping sauce and ate every last fry. They had plain pasta which was great for our kids. Unfortunately we were ten mins past our grace period because of traffic, I informed them through open table 40 mins beforehand but they did not (or we not able to? accommodate the patio area like I had reserved. Back of the restaurant is really dark and food/drink is mediocre. Aesthetic is cool though, probably a lot better for nightlife. View all feedback.
