This pub is by far the best in the area. The food is fresh, and the menu is outstanding. They offer a great selection of beers, lagers, and apple wines. There are plenty of tables available, but it's a good idea to make a reservation. The staff is very welcoming as well. View all feedback.

3 is low but 4 is to high. If you consider my pie and chips with fabulous pints of ale alone... Then a 4* was nailed on. My partner ordered a nice Sirloin medium rare... It was well done when it arrived. It was the last steak left and the menu only has limited choices... so that was that. It spoiled the score but that was £22 for a steak so it really should have been delivered to requirement. Service throughout was good and attentive. Ambience nice. If you want tasty pub classics this is a lovely place. Nice decor lovely bar. Totally recommended.
