What User dislikes about Floating Raft:
The restaurant is overlooking the Kwai bridge. Staff were friendly and attentive! The food was good although toward the slightly higher end. We tried the young coconut tomyam soup, it’s tomyam soup with coconut flash. It very refreshing! Ordered the smoked duck red curry. It’s slightly toward the sweet side. Wasn’t our liking. Always get lunch there when I come to Kanchanaburi. Good food quality-price .
Had a great dining experience. Great food and service at what I thought were very reasonable prices given the setting and quality. Was seated river side so fabulous views of the rail bridge and Wat on the opposite bank. Will definitely return
Restaurant right beside the Kwae River. The food is ok. The service is also ok. The price is reasonable. We got 2 dished of whole fish. One is deep fried served with fried garlic and one is steamed with limes and chili. The deep fried one is crispy from head to tail. The steamed one is a little spicy. The Thai style omelet is a little oily. The fried rice is good. The papaya salad is also good. Overall the food is good. The view is great and that adds to the meal. The service is fast. The location is great. We stopped by for a late lunch after the canoe trip, so we were very hungry.
