Maybe plan on having some nibbles before you come to dinner. Bread/rolls are not served, or even available at a cost. There are no side salads. Entree portions... read more Maybe plan on having some nibbles before you come to dinner. Bread/rolls are not served, or even available at a cost. There are no side salads. Entree portions are small, tho flavorful. My meal came with 2 carrot spears and 2 squash spears. Desserts are good but don't ask to substitute an ice cream flavor for your blueberry pie...our server said the computer doesn't handle substitutes.??? The location is beautiful. The drinks are large. Our server did not rush us thru our meal.

We only spent 1 night there, it wasn't even a whole night as we attended a concert at a nearby venue, but, in was beautiful. The service was amazing. After the concert we went back to the lodge I was hungry, so I asked themanager(? )If any where close was open she said no, but she could make me a salad, even though their restaurant was also closedI said thanks, but don't go out of your way. 15 minutes later she appeared with a beautiful salad. That was amazing. We willdefinitely go back when we have more time

We went to Pickford Pub in the lodge for dessert. We wound up ordering the Pickford Plate, a charcuterie board. It just have had an entire box worth of crackers, an amazing fig jam and a HUGE plate of olives, cheeses and meats! We expressedinterest in staying here and were told we could get a tour. Fantastic hospitality!
