At a bustling Panera location in Woodhaven, patrons experience a mix of service and environmental challenges. The restaurant lacks air conditioning, making it uncomfortable during peak hours, and cleanliness is often an issue, with tables frequently left uncleaned. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, some of whom provide thoughtful gestures like discounts, but slow service and management concerns plague the experience. While some dishes shine, particularly pastries and iced coffee, others, like the entrées, fall short of expectations. Notably, the lack of proper meal presentation and an uncomfortable atmosphere have led some customers to reconsider their return visits.
The pastries of Panera Bread are decent and we visit there every one to two weeks when we don’t have any idea what to eat for breakfast. We have subscribed to their unlimited coffee plan for months and this was our first time seeing that all the coffee wasn’t served in hot fresh. Hence, we were disappointed with their service at this location. The indoor dining is currently available and their safety procedures for COVID-19 is pretty good. The staff checked temperature for every customer and kept social distance between tables.
I’m a bit biased on this review since my girlfriend got me the Panera Bread unlimited sip club reward as a gift and it’s honesty a game changer! Outside of this, the food is honestly flavor and this location especially is always filled with so many diverse characters old, young, quiet, eccentric, etc. Sometimes I truly come here to just relax and it never disappoints.
Nicely clean and cozy atmosphere with jazz like music, booth seatings and friendly staff. Only con, the portions for dining out has immensely downsized, for the increase of price. However, for a quick and restful breakfast, lunch or dinner it's Had a delicious garden cob salad with avacado and chicken tikka soup. Very friendly customizable and flavorful order options with kiosks available in front entrance.
On September 13, 2022, I noticed that the woman at the register appeared to be quite ill; she was coughing and had a pink nose. Before assisting the next customer, she attempted to wash her hands, but as she did, she continued to cough without covering her mouth. This raised concerns about the bacteria potentially transferring to the bread located in the front area near the sink.
I'm not sure what went wrong during my visit. I ordered a sandwich from Panera Bread, but my order was incomplete; my soup was missing, and the avocado in my sandwich was hard and unripe. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve my soup, but I can't understand why anyone would think it's acceptable to serve avocado that you can't even bite into. This is simply unacceptable!
