I've visited this restaurant a few times during our family's time in isolation, and each experience was excellent. I returned tonight for another meal, and once again, it did not disappoint. To be honest, managing two young children during isolation has its challenges, but the staff here are so accommodating that when the kids misbehave, I still feel grateful. Ordered a sundae and a waffle, the order wasn’t rung up on the till, only the till drawer opened, looked a bit dodgy, food was lovely but not worth the price, sundaes from Renaldos are much better for the price, don’t think I would return
After having dinner out we went to Flakes on the way home to get an order for my son. There was one other person in front of me at the shop and they were receiving online orders too. 3 people came and got served and left while I was still waiting; a girl said it wouldn't be long. Then after more ppl being served and leaving and my order still not there; me standing there looking at them….I asked again how long,…they then scurried about and cane back to ask what I had ordered as had no idea what it was! It was one hot cookie dough…and they saw me standing there for 35mins. Not an apology or discount offered. I waited 50mins in the end, had to tell my family who were waiting in the car to go home and come back for me. You would think they would of had the sense to check what my order was or why I was still standing there after 35 mins while other people that offered there and then got served and were away, Ingredients are not of a high quality, the item was ok but probably not worth the wait and money. The kitchen area was messy and seemed a bit disorganised. Customer service needs improved.
