I went to Popeyes thinking that it was not open (my husband said it was). To get some take out. It was fresh and clean and the staff were trying really hard. Disappointing! Chicken Strips are very odd, like is this real meat? I couldn't quite tell what it was, consistency was strange, I think rubbery or something. Hadn't been to a Popeyes in two years or more, but they're so hyped up, wanted to try the chicken. The batter was very unflavorful other than the spice.
