The restaurant is very pretty with glass doors opening to the pretty garden, we were lucky enough to have a table by one of them, very French atmosphere. The food was excellent for both starter and mains, the profiteroles however were very hard and not enjoyable. Overall though because the waitress and the owners were very sociable, and the atmosphere was great , we had a lovely evening and would definitely return. View all feedback.
We decided to stop by on a whim to see if they had any availability for that evening, which luckily they did. We returned later for dinner, with my husband opting for the steak and me choosing the duck. I have to say, the food was delicious. Both meals were cooked perfectly and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We even recommended a spot in Bristol for Roy to visit when he's in the area. If you ever find yourself nearby, be sure to check out the menu as there were several other dishes I would have loved to try if I had the time. Best of luck in the future, and the real fire adds an amazing touch to the ambiance.
Had great fish and chips. Quickly served. Very hot food, tasty, and reasonably priced. Have visited several times. Always good. Great cakes too.

Beautiful food, great friendly service. Nicely laid table! We arrived on a Tuesday and had the restaurant to ourselves which was a real treat. The waitress stayed very much in the background which was also very nice. The food was excellent.... The whole evening was pretty much perfect!
