The Rutland Arms pub near Fratton Park in Portsmouth has recently undergone some changes in ownership and management, leading to mixed reviews from customers. While some praise the friendly staff, clean facilities, and delicious Sunday roast, others are disappointed by the lack of real ales, inexperienced staff, and overall decline in atmosphere. Despite some positive experiences, the consensus seems to be that the pub has lost some of its charm and appeal. The recent refurbishment has improved the look of the pub, but it remains to be seen if The Rutland Arms can regain its former reputation as a lively and welcoming local spot.
What User likes about Rutland Arms:
Lively and friendly local pub. We visited shortly after football had finished, being local to the ground it had been a busy Saturday. Despite this the the staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating with advice on the various gins. Both the men’s and ladies loos were exceptionally clean for a pub, especially after a busy football afternoon. Looking to return for the quiz as we enjoyed the vibe so much. View all feedback.

There was no cask... View all feedback.
