She said “Can I help you?... read more We were following our phone to an intersection where there were a bunch of restaurants. I noticed a young woman With a Brutt shirt on. She said “Can I help you?” I said “We found you!” She replied< “YOU SURE DID! Come on in!” That was the beginning of a perfectly fabulous evening at Brutt. I had the smoked salmon salad and my wife had the Duck Magret with a port wine reduction sauce. That made it a tough wine choice…so the young lady (I’ll get her name next time…and there will be a next time said why don’t we get you a taste of a red and a white and you can decide?” So Marcos came t-with two wonderful wines, which both would have worked well with both dishes..we chose the Red. He didn’t recommend based on price, but on how it would pair with our choices…it was actually one of the lower priced bottles on the menu. Long story short, wonderful food (the smoked salmon salad was wonderful, but the duck was sublime , great service and beautiful ambiance (including some cool modern wine-related art . Marcos helped us close a great evening by walking down the street with us highlighting other places we need to try. Perfect! Thank you to all the wait staff and the chefs!
