What MARGE dislikes about Acquaviva Winery:
Brides of color beware. They did not want to talk to me after my partner and I paid them. They tried going around me to speak to my white partner. Messed up everything I asked them to do. Event coordinator was extremely rude and lied all the time. I had to pull up screenshots of a conversation we had through email because she said it never happened. Please update your website and your signage for future visitors, or at least advise people to call ahead to verify hours. Honestly, updating the website shouldn’t be too difficult and could significantly improve customer service. I rated it a 3 since I didn’t get to taste the wine (and it wouldn’t be fair to rate it lower), but in terms of customer service, it only deserves a 1 in this instance. UPDATE: I appreciate the response from the winery. I would suggest adding a “Visit the Winery” section to your website or clearly listing tasting room hours. It seems like events are typically displayed on a calendar, not daily operating times. However, you are correct that we should have been able to find that information. We’ll plan to visit again the next time we’re in the area and hope to enjoy your wines then.
When it came time for dessert, we ordered a slice of cake that was supposed to come with "vanilla ice cream." It seemed the staff didn't want to explain that they were out of a fourth item, so what we received was a piece of cake accompanied by a cool puddle of what I assumed was strawberry ice cream instead. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for my family, especially considering we had traveled a long distance and it was their first time at this restaurant. I felt bad for my mom, who had recommended it.
Had a great lunch with a tasting and a tour. reserved in advance, they were very accommodating. a high time was planned to the day of our reservation, but because it was later the day we could still come. the food and the wine were great, vito was a great host. his help at tasting was very appreciated and I found a new favorite wine. the tour was short, but full of history, I highly recommend to make the tour with vito. he and his family are great and I look forward to the future efforts of her weinguts!

Absolutely amazing experience ever. The service was amazing. The food was outstanding. The owner and server Vito was complete class act. Not only is he charming, he's an amazing story teller. We had the chance to understand his family history and get to know a great person I highly recommend this place and if I could give 10 stars he would have them alll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
