When I arrived to Marseille I realised that the hotel I originally booked was too far away from the station. I tempted my luck and walked into the nearby Gare St Charles branch. I was met by a very friendly manager (Assia) who did her utmost best to put me at ease, cancel my reservation at the other hotel without incurring any penalties and managed to book me into the Saint Charles branch, even thought they were full...
