There are hardly ever any staff around when I visit Kernels Popcorn. Whenever I see the "be back in a few minutes" sign, it usually takes more than 30 minutes for someone to come back. It’s simply not worth the wait.
I had a fantastic experience at this Kernels location. The staff were warm and attentive, making for a pleasant visit. The double butter and caramel popcorn was perfectly sweet and incredibly tasty.
I waited over 30 minutes with no staff at the counter, which I find hard to understand—how can they leave the stall unattended for so long? I’m not the brightest, but how long is "a few minutes" for a break? It felt closer to 40 minutes. That said, the food is delicious, so I’ve adjusted my rating accordingly.
The service was quite disappointing, and the woman at the counter seemed unfriendly. I wonder who owns this establishment. I won’t be coming back.
