The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The food is amazing! We love going to Tratto as often as we can, even if it’s just for dessert and drinks at the bar. It’s commonly the same employees each time we go in, which says a lot about a place.
Staff and environment were amazing! I dont mind spending over a $100 for dinner for two but for that money I got a half a raddish, 8 olives from Italy that weren't anything special, two small pieces of cheese. Salad had really good pieces of parmesan cheese but otherwise boring. Two really tastey chicken leg quarters that were kind of undercooked and one medium portion of antipasti noodles w an amazing parmesan kind of alfredo sauce that we had to share???? Nothing was presented in anyway that was memorable. It was good and we had fun but I have a lingering feeling of regret that just kind of didnt allow me to fully enjoy the memory. Id say if we had both gotten a half radish plate, olives that were amazing regardless of where they are from and my own plate of noodles then id be tempted to come back some day. As it is id rather just be adventurous and try something new and different for $105.
We began our meal with a complimentary plate featuring a selection of vegetables and house-made salami. Our server, Maria, highly recommended we try the Farinata, which is a chickpea flour crepe topped with tomatoes and onions. It was absolutely delicious, though I had to take some home to save room for the other dishes Maria insisted we try. We also enjoyed the Roasted Beets wrapped in fig leaves, accompanied by Gorgonzola Dolce. The freshness of the beets was apparent, and the sauce complemented them beautifully, while the fig leaves added an extra layer of flavor. The toothsome Scarpinocc pasta, filled with sweet, milky ricotta cheese, had an incredibly fresh taste. This dish was served with well-seasoned fava beans and crispy fried sage. Additionally, we shared a small grilled chicken with potatoes. While simple, it was executed perfectly—the flavor of the chicken from Two Wash Ranch is worlds apart from what you’d find at Costco or Safeway. If you appreciate the difference that fresh, natural ingredients make and value the artisanal effort behind each dish, you’ll thoroughly enjoy your dining experience here. P.S. If your server is Maria, be prepared; she has a knack for encouraging you to order a bit more food and drink than you might have planned! Overall, it was an incredible meal.
