A true gem in the neighborhood. The food is consistently unique, featuring a delightful variety and stunning presentation. Choosing what to order is the toughest part, as there’s something for everyone. The wine list is excellent, offering both glass and bottle options. Not impressed. They seem to be resting on their laurels. Perhaps used to once be a great restaurant. Now struggles to even be average. Food-average to below average. Service-average. Doubt I will return. View all feedback.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Amazing service, knowledgeable staff and incredible food. The rock shrimp was to die for and the halibut was incredible!
The food was incredible and service was impeccable! Ingredients are local and ultra-fresh, and every menu item looked delicious. Every necessary precaution was taken due to yet the ambiance and atmosphere were warm and welcoming. The Chef even came to our table to say hello. Such a wonderful experience, will definitely return soon
Excellence years and counting. There is not another restaurant I would select or recommend as a favorite in the Phoenix metro area. Always consistent; highly trained staff who recognize your needs; innovative dishes served with flair; top-drawer wine list and bar selections. Victoriaâs martini made with Plymouth gin was perfect, as always. First course was a tomato tartare salad; next was flank steak grilled med rare, complemented by a bottle of Cote du Rhône. There wasnât room for a dessert. Next time. Iâve been coming to this restaurant since Mark opened it in There simply isnât another restaurant of its caliber in the Valley.
Innovative food with a lot of choices. Several dishes were a bit heavy on the salt, and this coming from people that like salt! Service is impeccable! Don't miss the cheesecake! Impressive presentation and easily chargeable with 2-3 people. This restauranthas greatness potential, but tables too close together; Hard to go in and out; and way to noisy!!!!! We were looking online for a nice restaurant for date night while on vacation from out of town and we ran across Tarbell’s here on Google. One word, AMAZING. We were able to get a reservation for a Friday night the morning of and from the get go ourtime here was great! First off, the hostesses were so kind and thoughtful. They were running a little late and weren’t readyto seat us at our reservation time so they helped us find a seat at the bar to wait. Then they came and checked on us so wedidn’t feel forgotten. The hostess that sat us down, I wish she was our waitress. She was so kind and was very happy to pointout her favorites on the menu when we asked for her opinion. She said she doesn’t get asked much as a hostess, but loves itwhen she does get asked. We ordered the shrimp tempura (our favorite dish all evening), duck?? ragout with creamy polenta (5stars), and not pictured the burger (amazing, and what the hostess and our waitress recommended). We also ordered sides ofBrussel sprouts and mac cheese, these I was disappointed in and wouldn’t order again. Sorry for the long review! But thisplace is amazing and you have to go! If we are ever back in Phoenix, we will return.
