We approached the hostess, who informed us that we could only have drinks at the bar since they weren’t serving food. I explained that we had made a reservation just 15 minutes earlier and had even received a confirmation. She told us that they had stopped accepting reservations and that it wasn't possible for us to dine there. I showed her my confirmation email as proof. I found it very disappointing that they accepted our reservation but chose not to honor it. This was a missed opportunity for them to gain a customer, receive a great tip for their server, and potentially get some positive word-of-mouth advertising. In the end, they lost out on everything, and I doubt I’ll ever return. I’ll also be sure to share my experience with others about this unfortunate missed opportunity. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to having a meal there!
The food was just average. The bands were a bit dry. The mac and cheese was decent, but not exceptional. The pulled pork sandwich was tasty. The drinks, however, could use some improvement. Our server was quite attentive and even chased after us when we accidentally left our car keys on the table. The live music in the bar sounded great for those who enjoy country music.

As the new spot in town with a great location, we were anxious to give Bourbon Jacks a try; unfortunately we were very disappointed. All the wait staff seemed to be so inexperienced. When asked a question...they simply replied I don't know they did NOT seek out an answer to the question. Example: Is the Blackened Salmon Spicy? The answer given was: I don't like Seafood so I don't know! WRONG ANSWER! The B Jack's starter salad was excellent but after that the entrees Ribs and Blackened Salmon slightly spicy) were mediocre at best! Our server did NOT return to the table to ask about our meal until it was time to clear our plates. The place was dark with no consistency on the window blinds some open, some closed, some up, some down). Decide what you want the ambience to be and then set it! The Live Bar Music was too loud for a 6:30 dinner reservation in the dining area. Overall a FAIR rating sadly we will NOT be returning or encouraging any of our friends to go either!
