We heard great things about this place so we decided to give it a try last night as we had a few other chores to do in Peterborough. Arrived at 5pm for what we thought was an early dinner but the place was packed as they have a Wednesday senior dinner which neither of us had because we prefer halibut to haddock. This used to be the absolute best place to truly enjoy the finest fish and chips in Peterborough. The food was always excellent, fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. It used to be a regular dine-out for me. HOWEVER, the last couple of times I did take-out and got home, I found the halibut was overcooked and hard crusted on the sides, no taste and the entire meal certainly not up to their usual standard.
