Bunn Mee presents a mixed dining experience that excites and disheartens. Bunn Mee have a great new vegan chicken option on their menu! Jenny has created a delicious vegan chicken recipe using wheat based protein and an amazing sauce containing fresh pineapple, coconut water, soy sauce, sesame oil and black pepper (yes it’s as delicious as it sounds! . Vegan Chicken Banh Mi $11.50 (vegan chicken, cucumber, pickled carrot daikon, coriander and fresh chilli, in a fresh crusty Vietnamese roll Vegan Chicken Noodle Salad $19 (vegan chicken, bean sprouts, salad, fresh chilli, coriander, mint, rice noodles, vegan nuoc mam Vegan Chicken Rice $19, served with salad, pickled veg and vegan nuoc mam. All of these dishes were fantastic but my favourite has to be the noodle salad, which is surprising because I’m not usually a salad person! But the noodles combined with crunchy veg, tasty chicken, lots of fresh herbs and the incredibly tasty nuoc mam sauce was just perfection
I love that they have a separate vegan menu their bahn xeo spring rolls are a must try if you love Vietnamese food. Updated from previous review on 2022 02 04
Full vegan menu, lace spring rolls and hoisin tofu Bahn Mi are amazing, best in Perth!
Legitimate banh mi’s, their Vietnamese coffee is as authentic as it comes and their broken rice is superb. Lychee smoothie is also out of this world!
