Bacchus Kitchen is one of my favorite dining spots, particularly since I've enjoyed meals here on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. The diverse fixed menus always entice me to return. This visit was no exception—I truly loved the food. I’m definitely coming back to explore their other special occasion menus. View all feedback.
What Maurice Cormier dislikes about Bacchus' Kitchen:
Food was great but service was lousy. Ignored pretty much from the time arrived (5 minutes before anyone talked to us after walking in) and had to ask a bus boy to get our server after waiting 10 minutes with no attention. Then was not offered the specials or asked for a drink order. View all feedback.
It is one of my cheap restaurant, as I dive during Christmas eve, new year eve. the sorts of the fixed menu tempt me to try again. certainly it was not disappointed and I loved eating. definitiw will return to try again, it is another menu for special occasions.
We were a party of ranging in age from to We all found something yummy to eat! One of us ordered the scallops, another ordered gnocchi, another ordered the pork, another the steak. We all tried each other's dishes, and they all tasted great. Cozy, eclectic, rustic ambiance with distressed, doors hung on the walls for decoration, wine bottles for light fixtures and even a Dean Martin album displayed on a shelf. Fabric napkins, real candles, no table cloths. If the menu is the same when I return, I'd like to try the mushroom-stuffed chickpea cakes and maybe even dessert. The in our party was disappointed that they did not serve cocktails, only wine and beer I guess seeing the Dean Martin album gave her a hankering for a martini). The old also thought the place was too loud, but the rest of us were perfectly comfortable, and had no complaints at all.
Really enjoyed the six course New Year Eve dinning, would realty liked to try out the regular menu, and it did not disappoint and I really liked enjoy the regular menu. Will definitely back again and I recommended this restaurant to my friend to try out this restaurant.
Megan, the server, was very nice, very accommodating. I went for the gnocchi and was disappointed. It's pan seared which made it chewy and tough. Maybe it was reheated, not fresh? The beet and Burrata salad was very good. The pork chop was also verygood as we're the white fig tart and the flan. I don't feel like I want to go back.
I can 't wait to go back! Don 't know what took me so long. Cozy interior with the original brick walls exposed. Also outdoor patio with heaters. I wanted to try everything on the menu. Had the Apple starter. Apples three ways on top of a big slab offresh Burrata cheese. Great bread. We both loved our mains. I have to also praise the knowledgeable servers, who knoweverything!
