My wife and I celebrated our 16th anniversary there. The food was cooked beautifully. Our server Ryan was excellent with the service. Thank you Ryan for the anniversary Champagne and dessert. We GREATLY appreciate you for that. If I have to pick a negative, it would be the fire alarm went off but I won’t hold that against them. Overall, we will be going back here and will recommend Ryan as our server. Food was yummy, drinks were delicious and the service was excellent. Thanks for being part of our celebration Eddie V’s.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. It has a classy atmosphere and the service was exceptional. Ryan was my server on September 17th, and we absolutely adored her. This time, I chose to sit in the lounge area to be closer to the band, but the service remained excellent. I really love this place!
We had an 8:30 reservation, but we weren't seated until 9:15, and the host seemed completely uninterested and didn't apologize at all. The customer service was terrible. Even after we were seated, our waiter didn’t acknowledge the delay. We waited over 45 minutes for our steak and sole after ordering everything at once, with just a Caesar salad to start. When we requested our lobster mashed potatoes and sole to go, we had more than half of our $25 mashed potatoes left in the bowl, but the server only provided the sole. I'm extremely disappointed with this experience and doubt I'll return. It was especially upsetting to have this happen on a Friday night for my boyfriend's birthday.
So after a quick shoe exchange at Neiman?s; I asked my wonderful sales associate, Reggie how to get to Capital Grill. He gave me directions but suggested I try Eddie V?s. So, what the heck I decided to give it a try. Although, I was a little apprehensivebecause I was dinning alone I walked in and was greeted by the hostess Tony. I asked if she had any booths available. She wasquick, efficient and polite. Instead of sticking me at the bar like many other restaurants, do she gave me the best seat in thehouse. I was able to hear the live band play watch the beautiful art of drinks near me and have a fabulous experience mywaitress name was Ruth, not only was she beautiful, but very helpful. She picked my drink appetizers and entrée. I loved all ofher choices. I even met the general manager Andrew he was just as pleasant pleasant. They made me feel like it was my birthday.I can?t wait to come back!
Reservations are highly recommended. We were lucky we got here a little after 5 so there was plenty of tables but as we ate the restaurant started to fill up fast! Not required but I suggest to at least dress business casual as this is a lovely upscalerestaurant. Very cozy and beautifully decorated. There is a lounge section around the bar, large open dining space withbooths, semi booths and tables. They also have several private dining spaces that can be reserved for private parties. Kathywas our waitress and Jennifer was the assistant server and many others that came to deliver the meals or take the empty plates,everyone was friendly helpful and all had a smile. Now to the food! Seafood takes top priority but they do have steaks forthose that prefer MEAT rawr ???? Warm bread and butter was served upon arrival. Our appetizer of Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes wereamazing! It's just crabs with a light crust, you get your money's worth! You get a warm towel before the entrées. So nicelike we were in a spa hehehe ???? Chilean Seabass so tender just melts in your mouth Georges Bank Scallops were delicious andtastes fresh Crab Fried Rice was ok a little salty for my taste Lobster Mash Potatoes were delicious highly recommend thisside! Definitely coming back to try other menu items!
