this meal was literally so delicious I am in love. really nice restaurant and really nice staff. the food was delicious again. I have the chick bites (cauliflower) and then the vegan plate and both were for to die. left feeling full and filled and damned, I just couldn't go back to england. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Windmill:
I wanted to order a starter but the waiter told me no need it's in the mezze which will be plenty of food for three people. The item never came in the mezze, and whilst it was an okay amount of food, none of us were full up. The portions we had for dinner were a lot smaller than most of these pictures. The second visit was with five family members, who all enjoyed their meals - some from the set menu, some a la carte. My partner and I had the fried halloumi again, and halfway through our meal, we were surprised with complimentary cocktails. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. Highly recommend the Windmill Restaurant for a fantastic evening with delicious food and attentive staff. Located near Paphos harbor, this restaurant is a hidden gem! They offer amazing vegetarian dishes (I highly recommend the spinach and rice dish) that are hard to find elsewhere, as well as delicious traditional dishes. The lentil starter dish is absolutely delicious, and I made sure to ask for the recipe so I can try making it at home. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and had great senses of humor. As a bonus, we were given complimentary cake that was possibly the best we've had in a long time. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in the area!
The food at this restaurant is delicious! As vegans, we had an abundance of choices and everything was wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cyprus. It's a lovely spot for an evening meal. If you're vegan, definitely try the vegan Meze and make sure to save room for the vegan chocolate cake with raspberry ice cream - it's fabulous!
Can’t recommend this place and Nancy enough. She made everything run so smoothly and was so kind and helpful. She did an amazing job and I had the best day ever. If you have any celebration here you will not be disappointed the food and service was amazing. Nancy will do anything for you and will go above and beyond to deliver a spectacular service!!! We ate at the windmill on 30th July to celebrate our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary (we got married in Cyprus). From start to finish it was a fantastic experience, quick seam less booking with Nancy who came back to me straight away. Lovely welcome on arrival from Nancy's brother (sorry I didn't get his name) and to see that Nancy had decorated our chairs and table for us which was a lovely touch. The service was fantastic and even managed to deliver a drink that one of our guests had asked for that they didn't have within a very quick time! The food, well it is most probably the best food I've eaten for a very long time, the chocolate cake was AMAZING and our 11 year old daughter said it was the best she's ever had and she's eaten a lot of chocolate cake and the food was all cooked by Nancy's Mother and Father. If you go to Paphos make sure you visit this restaurant you will not be disappointed, 5 star service with 5 star food. Thank you to everyone at the Windmill for making our 10 Year Anniversary one to remember!
