We always eat in Ouistreham before catching late ferry. Tried loads of places. On balance this was probably the best for simple authentic but good food. Varied menu service quite good and nice ambiance. Ok most diners are going to catch ferry so few if any locals but who cares if they provide good food at reasonable prices in a nice environment. 5 returning from business trip, recommendation based on visit 5 years ago..... and didn't fancy chewy-shoe on the ferry or a big Mac just outside ferryport...so looking forward to my fruites de la mer.... little disappointing to be fair as was not as fresh as I would expect, the oysters definitely, and the clams were clearly thawed out.
