The restaurant is closed on a Sunday, so we went on Monday. eating was very authentic burmese and freshly cooked by the owner. for those who have never tried burmese food, think about it as a cross between thai, Indian and Chinese. recommend the teeblattsalat, ingwersalat, nudelsalat and the nudelfischsuppe (mohinga,) which was very authentic. will definitely visit again when we are in ottawa.
Excellent warm service, delicious food! Especially recommend the Green Tea Leaf Salad (Laphet Thoke), a delectable mix of fresh, spicey, crunchy goodness!
Absolutely delicious food. Such an interesting combination of flavours. Owners are also incredibly welcoming and attentive. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
The woman that is the chef/owner of this cute place is so lovely and sweet! You can tell all the food is made with love and it was delicious!!
Don't overlook this restaurant! I have visited a few times and enjoyed the traditional dishes. I highly suggest trying the coconut chicken and the green tea leaf salad. I also sampled the cassava coconut cake, which is delicious if you enjoy rice pudding.
