Every visit leads to a new discovery.First time amazing smoked duck, second time out of this world piglet shank, third time smoked braised beef. Every visit exceeds expectation. Food is prepared fresh while you wait a little while in a pleasant environment.It is obvious when food is prepared with love by the chef Etienne.All this food on bread sandwiches prepared in house. the meat is food business quality, nothing special. see the following commentary and encourage the owner to try black meat sold in the shops. at a price point of a best sandwich in new york I would like to skip the next time and buy my meat at a metzger. the load in the inner is a little bizarre half empty regale with random products to ridiculous trips. Wow wow and wow. Just exactly what a neighbourhood 'restaurant ' should be. Great friendly service, awesome food, presentation...everything. we had three of their sandwiches....smoked beef was perfect! Friend shrimp was amazing! Ham and cheese was ok but nothing special. Will be back and will be bringing friends. Already been raving about it to whoever will listen.
My experience at this restaurant tonight was amazing. The food exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend trying this place for dinner. You will not be let down. We started with bison tartare and pan-fried foie gras as appetizers, followed by lamb loin with vegetables and duck with Dauphinoise potatoes as main courses. Every dish was exceptional. Bravo to the chef!
I am completely full. It's not often that a sandwich leaves me feeling like this. The porchetta was fantastic and the bread bun was like a soft cloud carrying a burst of flavor. Great value for money.
Unreal meat cheese beer, great lunch and dinner. This place is a dark horse. Go!
Full of flavour and at a very decent price point. Divert from Wellington West onto Armstrong and stop in here. The in-house iced tea is also fab!
