I had a Caeser and Boneless Chicken Wings which was good and refreshing on the patio. I went out with a friend who was in the city for an event but the service was a little slow and we had to ask a waitress twice for the bill. View all feedback.
This turned out to be a great place to meet up with a few friends after work. Good service from friendly staff and our glasses were never empty thanks to their attention to customer service.
Drinks and dinner with friends at Clocktower Brew Pub on Elgin. Beer, OK. Wine, same. Wings, overcooked and dried out. Hamburger, you could roof a building with it. I know this is Canada where all beef must be cooked until dry and tasteless, but please! Service, so, so. There are far better pubs on Elgin. We will return o them.
Hands-down the best customer service I've seen in Ottawa. Had a health concern tonight and the staff dealt with it promptly, kindly and professionally, which was incredibly appreciated and not something I see often at downtown establishments. Prices are standard for a downtown pub and as a vegetarian I had no problem finding food. Excellent location, close to bus routes and tourist landmarks. Lovely patio, laid-back ambiance, and some of the best brews in town - try the raspberry wheat beer and the seasonal brews! Highly recommended, would choose over other places in town.
When the recent changes to minimum wage started affecting all businesses in Ontario, Clocktower made the decision to reduce the tip distribution to their lowest paid staff.
