Great place at great prices. The people who say foreigners are not welcome, that is completely untrue. There is a gin bar that mainly tourists on the ground floor and 3-4 times a day a group of tourists come up, think their part of the gin bar, and then go down. You'd be upset, too. Just say you're here for revolution books and you'll be okay. View all feedback.

We came here as part of a food tour so we were lucky everything was ordered for us. Many different dishes with a plethora of flavours, such a feast. The salad was absolutely outstanding. I don’t think we left one scrap uneaten. One small comment would be the lack of chairs, personally don’t like eating that much while standing. Highly recommend. View all feedback.

Wonderful stop while in Kyoto. Amazing food and look for the secret bookstore in the back.
