We were referred there by the receptionist at the hotel where we stayed.Scrambled egg and bacon sounds like a boring breakfast, but it certainly was not. It was also a generous serve. My wife's spinach and mushroom on sourdough with a poached egg was well received. Fine touches such as a hint of garlic and a touch of lemon zest with the mushroom lifted the dish and made it memorable. Well done!This place is busy - expect to wait a few minutes for a table during busy periods.Staff, service, cleanliness and value for money are all as expected from a popular main street cafe.

The staff was very friendly, and the food and service were both very good.
