Sorry to say but I wasn’t happy coming to this chip shop at all . It seemed like a rather nice chippy and staff were suppose to be rather nice according to the reviews and their recommendations. But I dint think it’s was rather great at all . We came to visit delph for whit Friday and dint mind queuing Because we thought it was worth the wait , but sadly finally when we got to the door queued up the prices were really expensive and cover up the original priced list because it’s a special day . Just dint seem right that we went to lees on a whit Friday and they never had the cheeks to do this . We thought because we waited this long we Better Just pay but thinking we were going to get the best quality food . But so disappointed with the food and staff being so rude as well like it’s the huff and puff when I ask for extra Gravy hardly any poured over to be charged extra of these really expensive prices for the gravy and when we had the chippy me my daughter Shared it chips were not cooked properly the gravy tasted like washing up liquid no taste at all and the sausage we had on top was cold we only walked min walk away from chippy as well to eat it . Spent £8 we wanted cheese onion pie for my partner £5 **** hell buy a full one from the bakery and the portions were tight as well mean to go but I’ll just thought I’ll mention because I feel disappointed sorry . Won’t be coming to this chippy again and I’ve had better and tasted better
This chippy is world class, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the portion sizes are great and the food is amazing, I would recommend the homemade cheese and onion pie and the chicken curry.
Great chips and curry sauce mmmmm...only gave 4 stars because I only had curry and chips! However my daughter says I should always give small Independents 5 stars unless there is something that's wrong with the products or service. Soooooo next time I'm in Delph I'll go to the Coop and get a butty!
