I ordered the #1 combo, but it came swimming in grease. The fries fell out of the bag, and my order was incorrect. To top it off, the employees were shouting at each other. Definitely not impressed with Ohatchee's finest!
I absolutely love the ice! We enjoy breakfast, but there are so many other dishes we love as well. Southside, AL has it all!
My son ordered wings, which were fresh and delicious, while the fries were perfectly seasoned and also fresh. My husband and I opted for the smothered steak, accompanied by mashed potatoes, green beans, and a biscuit. There was a small mix-up when we received coleslaw instead of mashed potatoes. However, when I mentioned it, the staff was very accommodating—they quickly brought us the mashed potatoes with gravy, apologized multiple times, and told us to keep the coleslaw. The smothered chopped steak was quite tasty, resembling hamburger patties topped with gravy, and the green beans were flavorful and delicious. Overall, everything we had was fantastic, especially considering it was a fast-food restaurant. We will definitely make it a regular stop on our future trips! Additionally, I want to highlight Gab or Gabe, the employee who took our order. He was incredibly friendly and made sure our food was served promptly. The lady overseeing the orders, whose name I think started with a T, was also working hard to ensure everything was correct.
