The Whichcote Arms, recently refurbished, offers a blend of modern charm and inviting atmosphere, yet it comes with service inconsistencies. While patrons rave about the exceptional food, exemplified by the best rump beef for some, others encountered issues including lackluster service and menu miscommunications. Experiences varied from disappointing dry chicken goujons to delightful scotch eggs, highlighting a need for consistent quality. Although some dining experiences have been marred by slow service and staff unfamiliarity with the menu, the warm ambiance and potential for improvement present a promising dining destination for future visits.
