The restaurant we chose for our anniversary weekend ended up being a disappointing experience. From being rushed through our meal by an annoyed server to finding out the restaurant was closed due to a family problem, our hopes for a nice dinner were dashed. However, there were some positive highlights to note. The breakfast menu offered a delicious smoked salmon dish with a lovely view of the lake from the patio. Families with children were pleased with the kid-friendly buffet options, although some dishes like the swordfish and roasted brussels sprouts fell short in flavor. Overall, the attentive and friendly wait staff helped salvage the dining experience. In comparison to another restaurant visited the night before, the meal may not have been as tasty, but the service certainly made a difference.
