Sam's Southern Eatery - Noble

What User likes about Sam's Southern Eatery:
I am from San Diego, so most restaurants in my hometown don't serve fried catfish. When I visited family in this area, I decided to try this place. I ordered fried catfish, hush puppies, and fried oysters with a side of red beans and rice. The food was pretty good and the prices were reasonable. I really enjoyed the catfish at this restaurant. However, the oysters were disappointing. They were overcooked and the breading was not good. They had a strange taste and the oyster flavor was not prominent. I think they should use plain cornmeal with a little salt and cook them lightly to avoid overcooking.
