Was Claudine Lische at Emers a mag?
I've only been to Toyo twice but everything about the place always seems... perfect? Never thought I'd use the word to describe a restaurant but when everything is done flawlessly, I guess that's just the right word for it. Great food, very friendly staff, great space. 3 There's so much more to be said about Toyo! Will definitely go back. 3 View all feedback.

Outstanding. The food, atmosphere and attention to detail was amazing. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star, without doubt.
Toyo's food has soul! Tradition meets modern, authenticity meets yummy! I really loved it and will be back!
Too bad I only knew of emers since 4 years ago. Emers is an institution at makati cinema square , a tradition to the 50s above.it gets full every single day, lunch or dinner. Has a steady loyal following amidst tremendous competition. My staples: oyster misua, cuapao they are famous for this), steamed dumpling I love the sweet vinegar dip with this) and chopsuey rice. Very reasonable to the max! If your food is good , your quality is maintained, there's value for money, no reason for Emers not to survive comfortably and so long......
I'm probably not being subjective here but the novelty of this place added to the taste of their food classic chinese filipino. Ordered the all time combo of lomi and cua pao and they tasted really nice.
