Fantastic food, wonderful wine and one of the best value restaurants in Nice. Away from the main tourist areas of the promenade but don't let this put you off. The meal was fantastic and the owner/waiters are super friendly. (Manchester, England)

It was our last day in Nice and we wanted something fast and easy. So we looked for burger spots. We decided for LaPlanxa because it was 2 minutes from our hotel. We sat down outside and immediately received some cold water for our table (on the house) We both decided for the burger. They asked how we wanted the meat (we wanted medium rare) and that's exactly how we received it! The burger was DELICIOUS! We ate so fast we forgot to take pictures. I'm a cheese lover so I really appreciated the amount of cheese there was in this burger. They also used coleslaw instead of normal salad in the burger which was amazing! The quality of this thing was sky high for only 10,5€. There was also a salad and great potato fries. We also ordered dessert: A Kinder Bueno milkshake (comes with the chocolate bar) and the salted caramel macaroon (comes with vanilla ice cream and strawberry jam drizzle) we ate it all up and also received an espresso each (comes for free with every menu). We both loved this place and regretted not eating here the first night as well! Great service, both men that night spoke English very well (always a plus). Wonderful experience.
Very quiet for a Friday night, but amazing value and really delicious food.
While the server was beautiful and the fries were decent, the meat was not seasoned and tasted terrible. Good place for ambience and wine, but for food I would go.
