It is in a small establishment that nicolas vernier chose to exercise his talent. focused on the requirement his cuisine is generous and refined, traditional and surprising. as to fresh products their quality leaves no doubt about their origins. We went to two last night in this restaurant that was well noted. We were very disappointed. we took a two-way entrance (mini bricks. Delicious), a dish (beef heart, carpaccio style, parsemé de beaucoup de parmesan râpé, accompanied by some fries. good but without more, the parmesan hiding the taste of the meat),! short dish at 29€ anyway.! we leave at 46 € per person (including wine). Dinner between many friends, the restaurant was only for us at the same time.A beautiful tasteful experience to discover, magnificent dishes that surprise the palace.
Havde en super hyggelig aften på denne lille restaurant , bestemt er besøg værd hvis man er en foodie. Vi fik hvad der kunne købes frisk fra markedet. Priserne var også meget fair taget i betragtning af at der var tale om et rigtig højt niveau, skynd jer at bestil / spis inden denne perle for alvor bliver opdaget
Virkelig lækker mad og super service. Restauranten er nem at overse men er bestemt et besøg værd. Vi fik tilsammen seks retter, og de var alle helt i top. Det var som at spise hjemmelavet mad - råvarerne virkede friske og af høj kvalitet, og man kunne se og smage, at der var lagt sjæl og hjerte i det. Her vil vi helt sikkert vende tilbage, næste gang vi er i Nice.
Wow, I was lucky enough to meet Nadia (the wife) and my daughter and I went to lunch at Cafe Lea today and it was good as any meal we've had in France (and I live here part time) the swordfish was wonderful (my choice) and my daughter loved her veal it's wonderfully easy to get to from all parts of Nice (we walked over from the Port) and it's just a terrific spot Nadia works the front of the restaurant and her husband (who has gotten Michelin stars in the past which I completely believe) is the chef we were the only tourists there (full house) and the rest were very happy locals reservations a must.
This was our 2nd visit to Cafe Lea after discovering it on our last year’s annual visit to Nice. My boyfriend had the risotto which he thought was excellent. My friend both had the daurade but both felt it was a little fishy. I had this dish last year it was fabulous. 2 shared the decadent chocolate cake mousse dessert, a 10. A popular place so reservations are suggested. Service is friendly helpful.
