Welcome to The Oiler Bar, East London’s best boat bar (in our humble opinion)! Nestled at Royal Victoria Beach, our unique floating gem—once a Royal Navy refuelling barge—offers an unforgettable dockside drinking experience. With unbeatable views of the Royal Docks and the impressive Canary Wharf skyline, it’s the ultimate spot for laid back drinks with a twist. Join us during our summer opening hours: Monday Closed Tuesday Wednesday 4pm to 10pm Thursday Friday 2pm to 10pm Saturday Sunday 12pm to 10pm Please note that opening times may vary due to weather or private hire events, so be sure to check our Instagram for updates! Looking for an event space? We've got you covered! Whether you want to book a table, hire a specific space, or even the entire boat, simply fill out our booking form. Your reservation will be set for a two hour slot for admin purposes, but we never double book tables, so you’re free to enjoy your time with us as long as you like. Getting here is easy! This restaurant is fantastic, with attentive and friendly staff. Located by the river, it offers a pleasant atmosphere. The food is excellent and I appreciate the service provided to customers, including the use of a giant screen. A must-visit spot!
The local pub located right across from City Hall has a fantastic beachy vibe. The atmosphere is great and the pizzas available are delicious.
Best place to relax in east London, great beers and pizza and also 5 star staff. Really recommend!
