Rascal Newcastle
Rascal Newcastle
Description
Rascal in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia offers a range of vegan friendly options. Despite the Varmi burger being too salty, it was still enjoyable. The hot chips were complemented with a herby flavor and had a satisfying crunch. Washed it all down with a refreshing cider. Overall, a positive dining experience at Rascal.

Husband and I have visited Rascal twice and both times the place has been flat out packed (very small establishment) so be prepared for that but they are really fast with takeaways so just grab it to go! What Anonym dislikes about Rascal Newcastle:
Been here a couple of times. Worst restaurant ever! Staff un interested. Can't have a drink without ordering food. Bar staff blatantly rude about that fact! Just because we are out on a weekend doesn't mean we are all drunk & it's ok to be blatantly RUDE. View all feedback.
I felt secure dining here as a person with celiac disease. I recommend the Dirty Rascal over the Rascal Burger. The chicken options were also enjoyable. The fries were a bit too salty for my taste, so I will ask for less salt next time. I was disappointed that there were no gluten-free dessert options available.
Yummo! I couldn’t decide between wings or a burger so I had to settle with both. Equally delicious; the chicken was piping hot, juicy and tender. The burger was loaded and had the right balance between toasted bun, succulent meat and fresh veggies.
