The building is absolutely beautiful and maintained to an extremely high standard of cleanliness at all times. The manager and employees are the most polite and welcoming people I have ever met in the industry. Every time we visited, our dining experience was amazing and the service was excellent. What Ash Woodhall doesn't like about The Hop Pole:
Not the best experience, all things considered. We got locked inside the hotel for 25 mins one morning, between two auto locking doors, for which our key card didn't work. We tried ringing the hotel to no avail. That aside, The rooms are quite small, but nice and cosy, everything works. The building is old and well kept. Breakfast finished at 9am so we never made it there, despite paying for it in advance. View all feedback.
