The restaurant offers a mix of reviews, with some patrons expressing disappointment in the food quality and taste, particularly criticizing the margaritas, carne asada, and enchiladas. Others found the food to be average for the price, with decent appetizers but watered-down margaritas. However, there were also positive remarks about the vegan options, the attentive service, and the delicious vegan enchiladas, tacos, and buffalo cauliflower wings. Customers also appreciated the large portions, reasonable prices, and the option of ordering through phones or a waiter. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a variety of options for different dietary preferences, although the noise level and crowded atmosphere might be a downside for some. The positive reviews highlighted the fresh and flavorful seafood dishes, making it a good spot for a family dinner or a night out with friends, especially on Taco Tuesdays.
What Laura Lopez likes about Playa Betty's:
We had a lovely evening. We ate outside in the shed and it was comfortable and airy, not noisy except for the street noise. Food was very good, guacamole was fun.. you put what ingredients you like in it and mix it in. Tacos were great. Our server was also attentive and very pleasant. Overall a very good dinner. It’s a hopping place, people of all ages were there View all feedback.
What Rico Schulist doesn't like about Playa Betty's:
Eating was okay. margaritas were weak, I paid $8 to add a shot to the house margarita. then asked about a freshly pressed alk and a better tequila, it was not better. $8 for chips seems a bit exaggerated. View all feedback.
